DOD Electronics was founded in 1973 by engineer David Oreste Di Francesco and musician John Johnson. The company was later taken over by Harman International

n 1973, before “boutique pedal” meant anything, two friends started building pedals between gigs to make some extra money. Their band never got signed but the pedals they built became the signature tones of their generation, inspiring the music that changed the world.

DOD, the original boutique pedal brand, triumphantly returns with the new Overdrive Preamp/250, Phasor/201, Envelope Filter 440, Bifet Boost 410, Compressor 280, Boneshaker, Gunslinger, Meatbox, Gonkulator, Looking Glass Overdrive, Carcosa Fuzz, DOD Rubberneck. Along with incredible analog tones, all pedals feature true bypass, a crisp LED, modern power jack, and lighter aluminum chassis.
