Martin introduced the 1 Series in 1993. Priced well below what you would expect to pay for legendary Martin hand-craftsmanship and tone, the "1 Series" guitars represented value as well as innvoative design. While retaining traditional Martin size and appointments, all key structural components were redesigned.
