The Sheeran by Lowden S04 has a larger body size and 24.8" scale length giving it a fuller sound than the W series models. Its body shape is based on the Lowden S (small) body guitars. The S04 has a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, with 5-piece figured walnut rosewood back/sides and solid Sitka spruce top. The S04 has a bevelled soundbox at the contact point with your strumming arm - this makes it more comfortable to play. It also has a cutaway for unimpeded access to the upper frets. The top is braced with Lowden A-Frame bracing made from Sitka spruce.
