David Russell Young

David Russell Young made acoustic and classical guitars from the 1960s to 1980s before moving on to violin and cello bow making. In the 1970s his clients included Eric Clapton, Carly Simon, Gram Parsons, Merle Haggard, and Keith Richards. He is the author of the book "The Steel String Guitar - Construction and Repair" published in 1975.
